I am a huge fan of herbal tea – hot or cold.
I drink it every single day.
Some of my favourite tea’s are:
Lemon and ginger – slices of fresh lemon and ginger steeped in boiling water
Ginger and turmeric – put slices of ginger and 2 teaspoons of turmeric, 2 teaspoons of honey and 2 cups water – bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. (this one is so good cold)
Peppermint – fresh mint leaves steeped in boiling water
Rooiboss – many health benefits – see here and something I grew up on, coming from a South African family – I have passed this obsession on to my kids – they love it with a teaspoon of honey.
